1. How far does it have to sit out from the wall?

These photos display a Sitbest loveseat. When reclined it shows how much distance there is between the upright side and the fully reclined side. In this case about 4 inches. I will mostly use La-Z-Boy as a guideline as other manufacturers have different specifications. La-Z-Boys, if it’s a wall away approx. would sit out from the wall a few inches. A rocker recliner will need approx. 12 inches. It will also vary according to the frame size.

2. What is the warranty? (how long)

La-Z-Boys warranty on the mechanism, certain parts, frame & springs is limited lifetime warranty, 3 years for their motor & electrical components, and for foam cushioning, & fabric/leather it’s 1 year. La-Z-Boy warranty is 1 year on all labour. Bennett’s offers a *Masterguard Protection Plan (a 10 year limited coverage) which covers the original purchaser the cost of the labour if service to your furniture is needed, but it excludes electrical components/labour. 3. What styles and colours are available?

Each company has their own selection of models & colours available. There are a limited number of choices available in both leather and fabric. Your Bennett’s sales consultant can show you for example, which fabrics and leathers are available with the style of power motion furniture you like.

4. Do they come in both leather and fabric?

Yes. Some models available in fabric and some in leather. Ask sales consultants for the options that are available.

5. Are there other matching pieces to the sofa?

Yes. Generally speaking there are sofas, loveseats, chairs and chair & a half stylesas shown in this La-Z-Boy collection.

6. Is it North American made?

90% of what La Z Boy makes is manufactured in USA. Other manufacturers such as Sitbest is made in Europe, Elran is made in Canada and Futura Leather is a quality Imported line.

7. What happens when the power goes out?

La-Z-Boy has a battery back-up on their lift chairs. Other manufacturers have a battery back-up option. Be aware when there is a chance that the power may go out and leave the furniture in the down position. Simply said, the footrest will remain in the position it was in when the power failed so if it was fully open you’ll need to shuffle your way out of the seat past the footrest or across to the centre seat!

8. Is it just the end seats that recline on a power motion sofa?

Yes. I’ve taken 2 photos of this Futura Leather sofa to show one footrest fully reclined and another with both fully reclined.
