Hallagan Furniture- As Unique As You Are

Like Bennett’s, Hallagan is a fourth generation family owned and operated company. It has been in business since 1899 and stars highly in comfort, quality and style. Each piece of furniture is custom made from a selection of over 700 fabrics (classic, country, cottage & transitional) and hundreds of frames (sofas, settees, loveseats, sectionals, swivel rockers, recliners, accent, wing, lounge chairs& 4 ottoman styles). Options include: 6 nail head trim colours, pillows (3 sizes each of arm pillows & kidney cushions) wood finishes (about 7) and fringe(about 15 colours)

As if this wasn’t enough choice, within each frame choice are more options like whether you would like the cushions loose or attached, 3 distinct styles on how to finish the back cushions (knife edge- straight or tee, box tee, box straight)various arm styles depending on the collection (like full sock, track arm, scoop, urban taper, metro round, rising track, and rising round), and options for the shape of the feet or ‘base’ as they refer to them (there’s about 10styles)

The next option that I love, is seat depth. So often people around 5’0- 5’3 seated are left dangling their legs above the floor and tall people awkwardly sit in ill-fitting sofa’s with knees around chest level! Hallagan offers a short seat (20” deep), a standard seat (22” deep) a deep seat (24” deep) and even an option for a chaise extension.

Connie and Kyle’s heights differ a little!

Our sales consultant Connie, is just shy of 5’1” yet sitting comfortably on a “short” seat (20” deep). She says to note that her feet can sit on the floor!

Kyle works in the workshop and on delivery. At 6’3” tall he can sit comfortably in the “deep seat” size option (24”deep).
