All of Bennett’s furniture and mattresses are of the highest quality and designed for your comfort and long-lasting enjoyment.

Your coverage
Masterguard Protection Platinum Coverage*
* Please note:
- In order for a single piece of furniture to qualify for Masterguard Protection the item must be invoiced at $300 or more, before taxes.
- The Masterguard Protection plan is not included in your purchase and should be paid for separately and listed on the invoice.
- The purchaser named on the receipt is the only one eligible for coverage under this plan.
- The purchaser must request service within ten days of the damage or stain by calling our customer service at (705) 653-1188 or 1-800-561-7573.
Upon your purchase of this plan, Bennett’s agrees to repair the product or remove the stain for a period of ten years from date of delivery.
If the damage cannot be repaired, Bennett’s will replace the affected portion with same or similar fabric or material.
- Upholstery: 10 year limited protection
- Leather: 10 year limited protection
- Stains from all household food and beverages are covered for a full ten
years and are not pro-rated
- That the stains are cleaned only as directed by Bennett’s
- That the damage or stain is reported within 10 days of incident

- All repairs to fabrics and leather are subject to availability and because dyes can be different in different lots, Bennett’s cannot be responsible for any such variations

- Accidental punctures, tears and rips
- Stains from ballpoint pen ink, lipstick and crayon
- Breakage or warping of frame
- Colour transfers. For example: newsprint, blue jeans
- Springs
- Includes La Z Boy mechanism’s parts & labor but does not include non-La Z Boy mechanisms
Bennett’s Warranty Service Procedure
- Bennett’s will provide professional stain removal advise to assist in immediate cleaning
- If accidental damage has occurred, or if the stain persists Bennett’s will send a professional technician to your home to repair the damage or remove the stain.
- In some cases, the product may have to be removed from your home to complete the repair at no cost if within 160 KM – outside that delivery/pick up range there will be a charge (quoted in advance)
Customer Obligations
In order for this warranty to be valid the customer agrees:
- That the furniture was delivered free of stains and manufacturing defects by signing upon delivery
- That regular cleaning is maintained throughout the term
- That the stains are cleaned only as directed by Bennett’s
- That the damage or stain is reported within 10 days of incident
Exclusions
- Furniture used for commercial purposes
- Abuse or misuse of the product
- Natural characteristics that cause appearance variations
- Loss of use of the covered product
- Damage or stains as a result of transit, storage or rental use
- Damages or costs from cleaning repairs done by unauthorized Bennett’s agents
- Damages caused by failure to comply with manufacturer’s instructions
- Stains caused by body or hair oil, perspiration, dyes, corrosive materials, gum, paint, bleach, marker, perfume, nail polish & remover or of unknown origin
- Stains from non-approved cleaners
- Non-colour fast fabrics
- Any damages caused by pets (i.e scratches)
- Intentional damage
- Loss of foam resiliency
- Furniture sold “AS IS”
- Any buildup or accumulation of stains
- Fading, balling or pilling of fabric
- Damages caused by fraud, vandalism, war, hostilities or acts of God
- Normal soiling, wear and tear, buttons, tassels, seams, piping, decorative nails or foam
- Odours
- Damage caused by customer pick-up
- Exclusions noted on invoice
- Unaffected matching items
This agreement is not renewable or transferable and does not supersede the manufacturer’s warranty.
Bennett's Home Furnishings reserve the right to sell this warranty plan to another company and transfer all responsibility and liabilities for this plan to the new owners.
Bennett’s 30-Day Mattress Comfort Warranty
Rest easy with Bennett's 30-Day Mattress Comfort Warranty
A mattress is an important part of your life and knowing exactly what is best for you is not always easy to figure out.
At Bennett’s, our knowledgeable, sleep professionals can help you through all the considerations but, if you would like to really try it out, you can take it home with Bennett’s 30-Day Mattress Comfort Warranty.
You can purchase a mattress and take it home for a 30-day trial and if it is not what you want you can return it for another mattress.
Please Note:
- A mattress pad must be purchased from the store in order for the 30 Day Comfort Warranty to be honored.
- If exchanging, a selection of a mattress of equal or greater value must be made in exchange. If exchanged, there is $100 restocking fee.
- Only one exchange per customer is allowed
Common warranty issues and tips
- Keep all invoices and paperwork that come with your new furniture for future reference. Read your warranties carefully. Do not remove any paper identification underneath your new furniture. This could void your warranty.
- Most manufacturers and in-house warranties only cover foam for a year and do not cover compaction, which will occur with normal use
- The La-Z-Boy reclining mechanism is known to make a 'clunk' noise when reclining, especially when placed on a hardwood or vinyl floor. To lessen this noise, lean back in the chair while you lift the footrest and recline the back.
- Fabric pilling is not covered by any warranties and can occur for several reasons, such as the nature of the fabric, an afghan or pillow being kept on the furniture, even your clothes or your favorite sweater.
If you encounter this problem, shave the item and verify with what the fabric is coming in contact with so that you have identified the source of the problem.
