The Aviary trend is featured around the brilliant plumage of our avian friends. It has literally gone to the birds!

Think exotic songbirds on a lush, verdant green backdrop.

We are seeing bold colours and a mash-up of patterns. Maximalist decorating (the home as a curated space) is key!

Many styles can be incorporated, a popular one is mid-century modern, like the ottoman below. This mid-century ottoman features a bold, vibrant green, very similar to that of Pantone’s Verdant Green. These features are what make this ottoman fit perfectly into the Aviary trend.

Another way to add this trend into your home is with decor and accessories, such as plants (Bennett’s has some great faux florals and plants), artwork and throws. Not only is this generally a less expensive way to embrace this trend in your home, but it also allows you to transition, but is also more versatile, as you can change up accessories as often as you want!
